Five pillars hold up what we do: the pause, intimacy, wine as catalyst, uncomfortable ideas, and a break from conventional dynamics.

01The dictatorship of the algorithm

We live in an age of technological acceleration, fragmented attention and digital noise. Technology connected us, but eroded meaning. At Bade we claim the right to pause: stopping the clock to recover the capacity to contemplate, question and go deeper.

02Analog and intimate

In a world where everything is livestreamed and turned into social spectacle, privacy is the most valuable asset. Today's counterculture lives in closed-door conversation among stimulating minds, inside an environment built for unfiltered debate.

03Wine as a catalyst for the intellect

Symposion, in Greek, means “drinking together.” Wine is not an ornament; it's a founding part of a philosophy of time and a sensory connector. Heirs to that tradition, we understand the glass as the vehicle that slows the pulse, loosens the tongue, and turns a gathering into a Socratic ritual.

04Uncomfortable ideas and future outlooks

Far from prefabricated answers and the hell of sameness, we come together to cross political history with contemporary philosophy, neuroscience, aesthetics and artificial intelligence. We look for those who hold strong positions and the courage to test them among their peers.

05A break from the conventional

Bade was born of a need: to not repeat the stiff formulas of inbound tourism, assembly-line steak-and-fries gastronomy, or forced tango shows. We are an urban refuge that celebrates the real complexity of the city.

A heritage walk with a philosophical bent, connecting the life and fictions of Jorge Luis Borges to the real geography of downtown and southern Buenos Aires.

From the civic center through Monserrat, San Telmo, Constitución and the historic National Library building on Calle México 564, retracing the walks the author took on foot to bring to life stories such as The Aleph, The Zahir and The South.

Five hours of pairing and conversation around the Argentine pantry. A deep dive into Porteño recipes and local producers' ingredients, designed for small groups around a single shared table.

Wine & Design: Two Paths for One Night

An experience where handcrafted jewelry meets a guided tasting of Argentina's two signature grape varieties.

The Torrontés Path (silver / native grape): Amalaya Torrontés from Salta. Bright and fresh, with jasmine notes and vivid acidity.

The Malbec Path (gold / immigrant grape): Finca La Anita Malbec from Agrelo. Deep and robust, with notes of pepper, tobacco and barrel-aged chocolate.

Accompanying menu: a welcome Mayo Spritz cocktail, a board of dairy-belt cheeses, focaccia bruschettas with Kamado-smoked vegetables, and gratinéed gnocchi alla sorrentina as a warm closer.

The BADE Space

A historic floor on Avenida de Mayo, designed for creation and thought.

“La Inmobiliaria,” inaugurated on May 25, 1910 for Argentina's Centennial, designed by the renowned Italian architect Luis A. Broggi.

On the civic axis of Avenida de Mayo (Monserrat neighborhood), within sight of downtown Buenos Aires's historic domes, linking Plaza de Mayo with Congress.
